This sharpie yawl needed a lot of work. The masts alone took months to relaminate and varnish. The original pop-top cabin was rotten and was removed. Coamings were laid in. New engine, varnish, oil, and paint, and she was ready to go. Mainsail had a gunter rig and sprit boom. Working jib was bent on to a hand-spliced wire jibstay. Mizzen was boomless with bumpkin. All sails were canvas.
